October 15, 2013 - Dave Wolf and Mirit Reif attorneys at Hacohen Wolf Law Offices met Rabbi Dov Lipman, who is a member of the Knesset (Israeli parliament) for the Yesh Atid party.

Hacohen Wolf turned to the Knesset to seek assistance for some US clients whose funds still have not been released by the local banks, notwithstanding that the clients signed all required documents, including a W9. The move to seek help from the Knesset became necessary after the Bank of Israel informed Hacohen Wolf that they will not interfere with local banks policies with regard to FATCA.
